About the role

NFU Mutual have an excellent opportunity to join our growing Learning & Organisational Development division (L&OD) as an L&D Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Around 60 people work in our L&OD division all dedicated to our aim and passion- to make NFU Mutual a great place to work with an award-winning performance culture and world-class employee engagement. L&OD work in close partnership with each division, team and individual to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences and to make sure that everyone who works with us has the opportunity to be the best they can be.

The main purpose of this role is to administer and coordinate training delivery, events and other activity for internal and external trainers at Head Office or regional sites as required. To also manage and actively contribute to the development of the learning management systems, processes and technology.

Duties include:

  • Administer and coordinate training delivery, events and meetings to provide excellent end to end customer service to delegates, trainers, suppliers, business customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain training rooms to meet to requirements of our visitors and trainers, and monitor, and escalate Pavilion issues to enhance the customer experience.
  • Update and maintain content in the Learning Management System to provide appropriate learning solutions
  • Action, advise and resolve Learning Management System and course queries effectively and efficiently via email and helpdesk to meet service level
  • Record and administer training details to maintain accurate training records, and cross charging for business departments and suppliers.
  • Identify, review and recommend process improvements to enable more effective and efficient process to enhance customer service

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes, skills and experience:

  • Experience working in an administrative role in L&D and using/working with an LMS (Learning Management System) is essential
  • Experience using Cornerstone software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-talk effectively
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly working with Microsoft Office

NFU Mutual are happy to offer its employees informal homeworking. Our team is located in Stratford-upon-Avon and it would be expected that on average, 50% of your working time would be located from this office with the remaining days home based should you wish. Due to COVID-19, our employees continue to work from home and a return to the office is being planned for later in the year.
