As part of this growth, we are now actively seeking an experienced Learning Designer & Developer on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will help to create, maintain and develop training, (both internal and external) for the Battery manufacturing industry. We are looking for a Learning specialist with the appropriate experience and qualifications in developing Storyboards and content for Computer Based Training (CBT), Virtual Reality (VR) and Learning of (Battery) Manufacturing training. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end process of the creation of learning materials including storyboarding in conjunction with the Subject matter experts and Learning & Development Team. The role will also contribute to the business success by ensuring staff are competency trained in accordance with the competency matrix ensuring the workforce can meet the changing needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Create, Develop and Maintain content for Computer Based Training (CBT), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Learning training.

Create and develop Storyboards for all Learning training.

Contribute ideas to increase engagement and promote engaging and a learning culture to our Clients internal and external network.

The ability to work cross functionally with other departments such as Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Quality.

Liaise with product suppliers in support of training technologies or equipment development whilst maintaining personal and technical reports of training activities.

Develop and maintain a good understanding of the Battery Manufacturing process.

Contribute ideas on how my Client can most effectively manage change and communicate with key internal audiences.

Manage the reporting of engagement according to KPI’s and suggest ways to improve content and delivery.

Engage with new and emerging technology and integrate with current and future planning.Qualifications & Experience ideally required:

Should ideally have a Degree in Business or I.T. related discipline, but plenty of relevant experience will be considered.

Should have experience working in a similar Learning & Development position.

Knowledge of Story Boarding is required.

You will have confident consultancy skills to work with the business to understand and respond to their learning needs.

You will be experienced in designing impactful digital learning solutions.

You should have experience in designing and developing blended and digital learning content.

Experience is needed in both learning design and delivery.

Should have proficiency in Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360 or equivalent.

You will need previous experience ideally of working in a manufacturing environment.

A sound knowledge of manufacturing structure and process is an advantage, as you may be required to provide support to design, trials or proving activities when required, but it isn’t essential.

You should have technical design and configuration expertise using learning technologies.

You will need a knowledge of UX/UI (User Experience and Interface design) principles and methodology.Does this sound like you?
