Which is where you join the journey.What To ExpectThe Stamping Global Manufacturing Engineering Group is responsible for the delivery of tooling programs, facilities and technologies for all JLR vehicles. This includes managing the development, manufacture and successful launch of tooling and equipment into nominated press facilities as well as providing the foundation for JLR’s drive towards world-class BIW quality and cost performance. The vehicle programmes team is responsible for the project management of new tooling programmesAs the Lead Tooling and Process Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the programme manager, coordinating activities and creating programme inputs. You will liaise not only within the Stamping GME organisation, but also with the other functions within the body enterprise i.e. Product Engineering, AME, MPI & Finance.There is a possibility that during a programme, you will be required to travel to both tooling vendors & production plants located around the world such as Asia & Europe.As the Lead Tooling and Process Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the programme cost decks and ongoing change control. You will be accountable for the creation of Stamping GME programme status presentations for exec reviews as well as the creation of press tooling timing plans and tracking adherence.You will need to collate and track programme metrics by liaising with the STAMPING GME planning teams to monitor feasibility and manufacturing progress and be responsible for the creation of shopping carts in SAP and keeping track of project funds.Day to day, you will manage the delivery of the Automated Issues Management System (AIMS) items and escalate as required to the relevant governance forums and will support the manufacturing plants during the launch phase i.e. start-up meetings. As the Lead Tooling and Process Delivery Coordinator, you will also need to act as the stand in for the programme manager when required.What You Will NeedAs a Lead Tooling and Process Delivery Coordinator, you will need a strong understanding of stamping design manufacturing processes as well as a demonstrable experience of programme management.Knowledge, Skills And ExperienceEssential:

• Previous experience within Engineering or programme departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience of stakeholder management
• Knowledge of change control, product definition and change management processes
• Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
• Good IT skills

Desirable:

• Experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a cross functional team
• Strong project management experience
• Good working knowledge of Product Creation Delivery System (or similar process)
