Ferndown Upper School - Lead Teacher of the CCN BaseFull-Time, Permanent PositionMain Scale, Plus SEN 1Teaching in All SubjectsTo Start: September 2023Required from September 2023, an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Teacher to run our Complex Communications Base with a commitment and passion for the inclusion of young people.The Role Will Include
  • Overseeing the day to day running of the CCN base.
  • Planning and delivering lessons in all subjects as required.
  • Close liaison with the SEND Team and Deputy Headteacher for SEND.
  • Attend internal and external meetings pertaining to the students in the base.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the base.
  • Overseeing/delivering small group intervention around language and communication.
  • Providing targets based on EHCP’s.
  • Teaching within the base and main school.
