Lead Security Solutions Analyst

As a Barclays Lead Security Solutions Analyst, you’ll join an exciting new venture within the Security Solutions Department. You will take a primary role in the delivery of the Security Solutions Consultancy services & support the secure design & implementation of change across a variety of business areas, technologies and platforms. You’ll get a chance to showcase your exceptional understanding of security solutions and designs and an ability to work under pressure or within tight timescales.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as an information security authority to business and technology clients
  • Influencing the information security roadmaps and solutions for products, channels, programmes and projects
  • Delivery of assignments including initiating contact with the Client, analysis of client objectives, identification of information security responses and requirements,
  • Taking responsibility for assignment planning, delivery management, through to gaining user acceptance and sign-off for CSO outputs
  • Ensuring the end-to-end information security integrity and quality of solutions and product releases
  • Owning the delivery of Security Solutions services to customers, providing timely output to stakeholders
  • Undertaking and facilitating information and information security assessments/workshops for solutions during various development phases
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure residual risks are adequately mitigated to the degree that meets the risk appetite of the business
What we’re looking for:
• Demonstrable understanding of security solutions & designs from a people, process & technology perspective; security technologies, controls and assessment methodologies
  • Exceptional relationship, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO27001/2, NIST, PCI DSS and their application into diverse environments
  • Have a security qualification
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience with a Consultancy practice
  • Good awareness and understanding of the Barclay’s business unit responsibilities and structure
  • Knowledgeable about existing best practices for integration of security controls
  • Understands core development methodologies and their associated technologies

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
