How Do We Support Our Employees

The Role

The PMO Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining plans including managing dependencies, in line with business priorities and resourcing constraints.

This role will interact across all programmes in the Investment Change portfolio and will also face off to business stakeholders to ensure that the planning is robust and results in an achievable portfolio level plan.

Key Requirements;
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of an achievable portfolio or programme plan
  • Provide clarity of portfolio level baselines, forecasts and status
  • Analyse cross-project and programme dependency status and recommend action
  • Provide resource tracking and capacity reports, suggesting or facilitating resource smoothing
  • Provide an understanding of when new programs and projects can start based on availability of resources in a top-down schedule.
  • Create the standards and templates and advice for project scheduling - of milestones, baselines, resource allocation
  • Develop effective reporting packs (to Executive level)
  • As part of the portfolio team you will be expected to work closely with team members, and support the team and/or portfolio leadership in daily activities
