Job Description

Our experts in procurement and supply chain management work closely with broader technical, delivery and consulting skills from across Arcadis, providing both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice. Our end-to-end service offer includes-
  • Supply Chain Strategy- creating strategic change and actionable plans to align supply chains with clients’ business objectives and priorities
  • Procurement Delivery- a fully comprehensive procurement service, which delivers robust and efficiently priced contracts, with pace and assurance
  • Supply Base Management- going beyond traditional contract management to provide proactive and continuous improvement of safety, resilience, value and performance
  • Intelligent Clienting- embedding new capabilities and ways of working in our clients’ organisations, including skills and operating models to meet future business needs.
  • Key Duties for this role include-
  • Leadership of significant client projects through their lifecycle, from initial pitch through to solution design and activity planning, team leadership, commercial management and knowledge capture
  • Owning business development and sales for Procurement and Supply Chain consulting services for a defined portfolio of clients, working with relevant Arcadis Account Leads for these clients
  • Line management of a small no of consultants
  • Sponsoring the development and improvement of specialist Value Propositions within the Procurement and Supply Chain service offer
  • Providing specialist expertise and thought leadership to support market communications and the technical development of the Procurement and Supply Chain team

Requirements

  • Demonstrable track record of leading on supply chain or procurement projects in a relevant sector (i.e. Property, Public Sector, Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas or Transportation). Experience in Commercial and/or Public Sector estates (e.g. Health, Education) would be particularly desirable, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of the application of best practice in aspects of supply chain management, which could include-
  • Strategic sourcing and category management
  • Contract management
  • Supplier performance and relationship management
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Supply/demand planning
  • Product management
  • Experience of business development and creating new customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and team/project leadership skills.
  • Desired- Strong knowledge and experience of contracts (NEC, JCT, Fidic, etc.)
  • Desired- Professionally qualified (i.e. CIPS, RICS)
