We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic team leader to join our innovative school health team at Medway Community Healthcare (MCH).
The post holder will develop a service for young people, the team offers a range of services to support positive emotional wellbeing. The post holder will work with other professionals to contribute to the education and professional of students and practitioners in relation to the specialist field of practice.

- To develop a service for young people aged 5 to 19 years that offers a range of services to support positive emotional wellbeing. You will report to the clinical lead for school health
- Will act as expert and lead for emotional wellbeing in schools to wider school health team.
- To support and advise MCH Children’s services
- To be the liaison between Children’s services and Children’s mental health services provider (NELFT)
- to advise on current national policy and guidance throughout the organisation
- to update and implement innovative practice
- to provide data and statistical information regarding outcomes for children provided within the service
- Will hold a targeted clinical, caseload of complex cases
- Offer support and supervision to team members
- Ensure robust safeguarding supervision and that any training requirement for the team are in place.
- Integrate the link between PHN and the Specialist Children’s service and help develop a robust management structure
