You’ll be making a difference by working as part of a successful and innovative new team, showing a forward-thinking approach with an apprenticeship offer to meet the needs of our organisation now and in the future.You’ll be joining our OD service as part of our Apprenticeships & work-based learning team. As part of our service with our colleagues in the L&D, OD and Wellbeing teams, we work together and with our people to improve the organisation’s health and effectiveness in a sustainable way. By utilising the knowledge, skills and experience from across our service, you’ll be supporting our aim of making Dorset Council a great place to work.What You Can Expect To Be DoingAs part of our new Apprenticeship and work-based learning team, this operational role will be focusing on growing our apprenticeship programme, supporting work experience placements (including T-level placements), Internships, traineeships and the graduate programme. You will be ensuring that we continue to drive up and monitor the quality of our provision whilst maximising the use of our apprenticeship levy.Whether working with managers, teams and other stakeholders to identify work-based learning needs and design, deliver and commission timely learning and development solutions or supporting with key projects across the OD service, the team contribute to our Council’s aim to become an employer of choice.About YouTo be our ideal candidate, you will have knowledge and experience of how apprenticeships and work-based learning can be utilised to meet customer needs. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of evaluating return on investment analysis of apprenticeships and work-based learning, whilst also drawing on lessons learned and best practice models to inform future change.You will also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication and organisation skills that enable you to work with internal and external colleagues of all levels, including trade unions, schools, and a range of learning providers to build effective relationships.
