  • Provide guidance to these agencies on how to request data from Gumtree via our Law Enforcement Guide
  • Review and process each request, ensuring it meets appropriate standards and is documented to business guidelines, escalating to legal if there are concerns
  • Review any civil requests provided by Solicitors, ensure they provide a court order as appropriate or request they do so
  • Work with PR and legal departments to escalate potential legal or PR situations
  • Establish and foster relationships within the government agency and Law Enforcement community
  • Represent Gumtree & Motors.co.uk at conferences/meetings with Law Enforcement agencies & partner organisations
  • Pro-active reporting to 101 in emergency situations
  • Proactively review ads or those escalated from customer support and report to the appropriate Law Enforcement agency for further investigation
  • Review NTD (Notice and Takedown) requests from various organisations and remove ads from Gumtree
  • Register any new companies requesting ads removed
  • Track cases for both Law Enforcement and NTD requests for reporting purposes
  • Coordinate Gumtree and Motors.co.uk response to GDPR privacy enquiries, including execution of DDR & SAR requests

Skills and experience required:

  • Analytical skills (knowledge of SQL is a plus)

  • Exude maturity and a responsible attitude
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
  • Experience working with external stakeholders in a trust and safety / customer service capacity
