Job Description:

Rotate is looking for a Large Loss Claims Handler to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has the ability to multi-task, and works well in a team environment.

Locations needed: Southeast & East Anglia . Full time roles. Day to day: Large Loss Claims Handlers are expected to manage a portfolio of Large Loss claims due to a result in Fire/ Flood or Escape of Water. The candidate will be expected to travel to policyholders’ homes addresses 2 to 3 times a week to assess contents damage, record all loses, value and negotiate claim settlement for contents items. The candidate may also need to arrange and manage alternative accommodation for policyholders. The candidate will need to control and manage the claims spend, make authorised payments. Knowledge and experience required: At least 5 years previous experience of working in an insurance claim related handling role, High level understanding of insurance/indemnity policies and legal structure, Proven capability of claims negotiation with policyholders and Loss Assessors. Candidates must also have: Full and clean driving licence. Salary up to £30,000 - £40,000 per annum + car allowance of £4,800 per annum.
