Labour Hire are looking for a Drainage Operative for a well-established drainage and construction company based in Leigh.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE.

This is a full-time permanent position, subject to 13-week probation.

About You

  • High work ethic & team player.
  • Punctual & reliable.
  • Flexible approach.
  • Drainage experience is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving license. (preferably no more than 6 points)
  • Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Be willing to work nights, weekends, and early starts as we operate 24/7.
  • CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding, are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • You MUST be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.

About the role:

  • Monday-Friday 8-12 hours per day, starting as early as 6am
  • Hourly rate: £11.00-£12.00 (dependant on experience)
  • Operating various equipment and vehicles for a wide range of drain-related issues from emergency call-outs and blockages.
  • Cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programs.
  • Carrying out CCTV Survey works.
  • Hours: Typically 7 am-5 pm. (MUST be flexible due to the reactive nature of the role)
  • Time and a half over 40 hours.
  • Time and a half on Saturdays.
  • Double-time Sundays.
  • Permanent position for the right candidate with many opportunities for progression.
