An opportunity has opened in our Testing Laboratory that would involve the physical testing of Respiratory Protective Equipment. The work is both interesting and varied with tests covering different technical areas including: flammability, pressure and flow, wearer trials and breathing simulation. No industry-specific experience is critical but some experience in engineering/testing would be beneficial.

The role requires:

  • Education – English and Mathematics to GCSE grade C and above or equivalent
  • Perseverance and the ability to see projects through to completion
  • Basic computing skills
  • Attention to detail and a degree of creativity and problem solving
  • Willingness to evolve and accept new challenges
  • In time, the ability to work independently
  • Electro-mechanical skills are beneficial

Expected start date: 14/06/2021

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
