Applications are invited for this full-time post in SRUC’s Veterinary Services Group based in the Histopathology Section of the Central Analytical Laboratory at the Pentlands Science Park, near Penicuik.

The main role of the post holder is the preparation of histological samples: embedding, section cutting and staining of H&E sections.

Candidates should be qualified to degree level in a suitable discipline (or relevant experience) and have a minimum of 3 years Histopathology laboratory experience. The candidate would ideally have special stains and Immunohistochemistry experience. ISO17025 or ISO9001 experience would also be desirable.
