As Business Development Manager for Cisco you will drive profitable market share growth through key customer and vendor engagement, business plan creation and execution, utilising Tech Data sales teams, service portfolio and various marketing and business tools to address all relevant routes to market.
Accountabilities:
  • Execute the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share
  • Responsible for growing Tech Data’s share of wallet (market share) with the vendor
  • Ownership of developing and executing the vendor business plan
  • Support the development and execution of marketing plans alongside the Marketing Manager
  • Accurate and timely weekly forecasting and pipeline development
  • Development of key channel relationships
  • Key customer engagement
  • Vendor operational, sales and marketing team engagement
  • Large deal & pipeline engagement
  • Driving the presence and profile of the vendor(s) internally within Tech Data and externally to customers
  • Negotiate on deals and rebates
  • Input into purchasing, sales and pricing policy
  • Strategic input into vendor market propositions
  • People management and development (where applicable)
