Location: Colne (BB8)Pay Rate: £350-£400 (Per Week)Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to start May 2023 in Colne (BB8). The role will require you to be flexible and very adaptable to change. You will get the opportunity to gain transferrable skills whilst working on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups. You will also offer full class support when needed alongside the class teacher. The class is made up of 20 pupils who are all very settled within their class and need someone who is going to be attentive and patient whilst offering support towards their learning. The school are very focused on promoting independence and self-confidence for their pupils so when appropriate, the children are encouraged to work independently or in small groups to also help improve their social and emotional skills.About The Role
  • Working hours are 08:30-15:30
  • Weekly Pay £350-£400 (pro rata) paid every Friday
  • Supporting year 2 pupils on a 121 basis as well as offering full class support
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience working with SEND pupils (desired)
  • Hold a child only DBS accessible on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Calm and nurturing attitude
  • Ability to use initiative and offer whole class support when needed
  • Experience working in a school setting (desired)
  • Hold a Level 2 TA qualification (desired)
