We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join this fast paced sales/customer service team, where you will be proactively managing a range of key accounts to drive sales and product ranges, supporting sales and channel partners in administrative areas, such as order processing, sales quotes, sales information management, product training and financing. The role is full time and permanent, based in Banbury, hours are Monday to Friday and the salary is competitive with commission.

As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for
  • Maintaining and growing existing client relationships within a defined territory
  • Developing customers on the full range of products and services available
  • Working closely with sales managers to execute optimum sales approach
  • Build and manage your sales pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed relevant KPI’s as an individual, team and business, targets including:
  • revenue, outbound calls, quote conversion, customer response handling, data quality
  • Maintain high level of customer interactions through outbound calls and emails
  • Handling escalated queries through to a positive resolution
  • Respond and manage incoming contact from customers through telephone/email/website
  • Work and liaise with customer service/credit & collections teams to resolve
  • Grow sales of key accounts and the territory as a whole
  • Follow up on all quotes and follow through to order status
  • Carry out outbound telephone calling campaigns to promote the brand
  • Working with marketing to produce customised marketing campaigns
  • This role is office based, however there maybe occasional UK travel to accounts

Skills/experience/attributes For The Key Account Manager
  • Sales/telemarketing and or key account management experience within a high pressured, dynamic sales, customer service or call centre environment
  • Working towards individual, team and business KPI’s/targets and being successful
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Commercial business acumen
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Customer centric, and acts with customers in mind
  • Able to build strong long term relationships
  • Action orientated with a drive for results
  • Confident solution lead problem solver
  • Able to negotiate skilfully with both internal and external groups
