What you’ll do
The Key Account Manager, eCommerce Europe is responsible for the Linksys eCommerce business. The individual is located in the UK and responsible for building successful, long term relationships with our key eCommerce partners across the European region and to build partnerships with major distributors, e-tailers and resellers to maintain and grow our eCommerce business. Establishing plans and strategies will expand the customer base and delivering sales leadership, working towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The success of this role will be further reliant upon excellent communication skills, an analytical outlook and professional, confident manner.
How you’ll do it
Responsible for overall growth plans on eCommerce platforms each European market, with a focus on sell-through and new product launch execution.
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve these goals through combination of direct reports, dotted line reports, and local market functional partnerships.
Responsible for sales and account management responsibilities in each European market.
Provide weekly financial outlooks and accurate forecasts to the leadership team resulting in optimum performance
Collaborate closely with local market teams on product launch, marketing, and promotional plans.
Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Ensure client satisfaction and to secure long-term partnerships by taking overall responsibility for client relationship management, working closely with partners to maximise their margin opportunity, identifying and providing marketing opportunities and supporting plans whilst monitoring client satisfaction.
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales and marketing investments.
Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Ownership of Profit and Loss
What you’ll need
Degree level education (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Technology is highly desirable), or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in solutions selling at senior level sales management within the Information and Communications Technology sector.
Experience of managing teams of up to 4 in one or more countries combined with Profit and Loss and General Management responsibility for one or more countries.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Developments in technology, a working knowledge of the market sector and the marketing mix.
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
Proven knowledge of P&L and the ability to accurately forecast the business
What you’ve done
5+ years’ experience in a sales management role
Industry or channel experience is required
Proven ability to drive sales
Ideally manage a larger team of Account Managers / Business Development Managers
