An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join the Cornerstone Sales Team to manage our Supermarket accounts.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract covering a secondment period, and a great opportunity for someone looking to experience UK Trade publishing for the first time or broaden their already existing experience.

Cornerstone and their imprints, including #Merky Books and Del Rey, is home to some and some of the most successful and influential writers from around the world. You will be working across an array of authors including TikTok star Hayley Morris, football legend and presenter Alex Scott, national treasure David Jason, and fiction giants like James Patterson, Lisa Jewell, and Taylor Jenkins Reid. Cornerstone’s breadth of publishing is unmatched, and we take pride in truly publishing books for everyone with the overall mission being to entertain and inform, connecting our authors and their stories with as large and inclusive a readership as possible.

Excellent communication and relationship building skills are key to this role. You will be working closely with key retailer accounts, including Tesco and Asda, and colleagues within the wider division such as publicity and marketing, to grow our business.

You do not need previous UK Trade publishing experience, but we are looking for someone who is inquisitive, interested in selling a broad range of books, and who can bring market feedback into the team to help inform both Sales strategy and future book acquisitions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be analytical yet versatile, with strong commercial acumen and presentation skills. We’re looking for someone who can bring a book to life for our customers, building strong relationships and driving sales as a result.

If this sounds like your next challenge, and you want to be part of the team working on some of the biggest books of 2022, we can’t wait to hear from you. Please apply with a CV and Cover Letter by midnight, Tuesday 5th April 2022.

What you can expect from us:
