Night Shift. An exciting position has become available for a full-time

Junior Operator to form part of the night shift production and mining team in their operations, based in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will work 10pm to 6am and will earn

£23,000

per annum initially and

£26,000

per annum after the 3 month probation period. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the role and achieve the tasks required using strong organisational skills and a culture to adhere to health and safety. Role Requirements.
  • Full, clean driver’s license.
  • Pass a medical.
  • Prior experience is not essential as training will be provided.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A desire to meet development and production targets as part of a small close-knit team. Role Responsibilities.
  • Assisting the night shift supervisor in their daily duties.
  • Transporting crushed/blasted rock and gravel to and from specified locations from the underground mine and on site.
  • Working in a team to achieve the goals set by the supervisor.
  • Inspection and working with heavy machinery.
  • Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
  • Maintaining accurate driver logs.
