Junior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a talented and diligent graduate to help deliver a high quality, high performing design service to the University of Wolverhampton.

About the Role

Based in the External Engagement directorate, you’ll be responsible for interpreting creative briefs from internal clients and account managers to produce brilliant print and motion design assets for print and digital channels.

You’ll design marketing, communication and recruitment assets for a range of audiences and purposes, including brochures, advertisements, CRM communications, social media, leaflets and signage. All the time helping to ensure collateral your produced in adherence with corporate style guidelines.

The role sits within the Digital and Creative Services team, which produces six to seven hundred copy and design jobs per year. The position is one of three design roles, sitting alongside two copywriters, two web developers and three event specialists in the team.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and talented graphic designer, with experience in producing professional design for corporate clients to a high standard, and to tight deadlines using Adobe AfterEffects.

Flexible, you’ll be able to meet creative briefs and juggle competing demands from account managers. Working with the rest of the team, you will be able to manage your time, stakeholders and priorities effectively to meet client needs whilst remaining calm under pressure.

You’ll be comfortable creating stunning motion graphics with Adobe AfterEffects, and will always be looking to learn and experiment with new technologies.
