We are hiring for a Junior Buyer, working as part of our supply chain team you will raise purchase orders for both stocked and non stock products, ensuring purchase orders are fulfilled on time and in full. You will need to work the phones, and host meetings with both external and internal suppliers ensuring that we have world-class stock availability. It’s an exciting, fast-paced, and rewarding role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Place Purchase orders for materials and services ensuring ingredients are delivered on time and in full.
• Sourcing and resourcing of raw materials and packaging.
• Managing all open purchase orders.
• Collaborating effectively with suppliers and potential suppliers to gather data.
• You’ll also be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics.
• You’ll work closely with our COO and Head of Demand Planner and be a key point of contact for Suppliers concerning stock and non-stock purchase orders.
• Analysis of data

What You’ll Need:

• 1+ years of purchasing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement or any related field
• Negotiation Skills
• Highly developed communication skills essential, comfortable in:

-Communicating with Suppliers over the phone and email

-Dealing with company founders and directors

-Answering questions directly.

• High Attention to detail

The Practicalities:

Location: Unit 2, Sence Court, Bardon Hill, Coalville, LE67 1GZ

Hours of work: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
