RidgeMonkey are looking for a Junior Artworker to join our expanding creative team in our Widnes based office. You will have the opportunity to utilise and expand on skills gained during your educational studies or previous work experience in a friendly and experienced team of designers, artworkers and videographers.

About The Role

The Junior Artworker will be responsible for providing skilled and technically-precise support to the design team and wider studio. Time management skills are a must, as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the creative team to aid in the production of design and artwork files

• Work on projects throughout the creative process, from conception to delivery

• Creating packaging and print files

• Creating digital files

• Retouching imagery

• Proofing your own and others’ work

The Candidate:

• You should have a design degree or equivalent, or at least one year’s experience working in a similar role.

• You will have knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• You will have an understanding of print and digital practices

• You will have a keen eye for detail

• You will have organisational and time-management skills

• You will have a willingness to learn

Additional

• 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

• In addition, the office is closed over Christmas and New Year

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• Office-based in Widnes with flexible working hours and option to work remotely on occasion.
