Local Unit & Position Description

The Venture Team in Energy System is developing and scaling new services for DNV. One of the initiatiatives is assurance of digital twins. We see a growing demand for our services across the entire energy value chain and need to strengthen our team.

Description:

Assurance of digital assets is a core element of the DNV strategy. As response, Energy Systems and Digital Solutions and its strategic partners developed the industry’s first recommended practice for quality assurance of digital twins (DNV-RP-A204).

The new methodology has generated significant interest and key contracts have been signed with Equinor, Aker BP, National Grid and Cognite. DNV is now looking for a dedicated Project Manager to support the rapid revenue growth in this venture. The Project Manager will work directly with the executive leader of the venture and the internal and external team.

The right candidate can influence a future-oriented service, build networks, thrive in a matrixed organization, and develop skills that we expect to be highly relevant and attractive for DNV’s customers.

Tasks:

• Scale and enhance the digital twin offerings in close collaboration with Digital Solutions
• Drive digital twin initiatives in current and new markets, work with regional teams to ensure sales follow-up and service development, including improvement of the recommended practice, consulting tools, and new subscription-based services.
• Alignment across DNV on digital twin initiatives
• Interaction with DNV Group Technology and Development on new initiatives (twins for safety critical applications)
• Monitor and report progress
  
  

Position Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education, MSc. in Engineering or Computer Science
• Domain knowledge from oil, gas and energy
• Consulting skills
• Language skills: Fluent English and (preferably) Norwegian
• Keen interest in digital technology and business models
• Self-driven, persistent, creative, and good at networking
