Job Summary

AECOM are one of the world’s leading Engineering firms, delivering expertise into sectors including Transportation, Healthcare, Water, City Infrastructure and so much more.

As we look ahead to 2022, our ambition is to continue to build on our expertise and AECOM’s Talent Acquisition (TA) function is key to enabling that. We are excited to have an opportunity to bring in a talented Recruitment professional to our Civil Infrastructure TA team who will be tasked with identifying, attracting, and delivering the very best engineering talent into the business that the market has to offer.

What will you do?

Working with your Recruitment Lead, you will aim to provide a best-in-class recruitment service to both your candidates and key stakeholders. You will champion the ultimate candidate journey as well as develop insight and expertise in your sector that can help provide valuable intelligence to the business’ operational leaders on how to achieve their individual sector and company-wide growth plans. Your innovative and proactive approach to uncovering some of the rarest engineering talent in the market will be encouraged and supported and AECOM will provide you with the tools and platforms to ensure you deliver.

Day to day, you will work closely with the hiring managers to develop attractive job adverts and take a consultative approach with hiring decisions, chairing feedback sessions and working on the development of offers and negotiating with candidates on behalf of AECOM. You will proactively engage with passive and active candidates to offer them a greater understanding of the benefits and culture of our organisation. You will build strong relationships with your key stakeholders, HR colleagues and peers in the TA function and work collaboratively with a wide range of other stakeholders and departments to make sure we continue to all stay informed and cohesive in our approaches.

Minimum Requirements

You will have previous experience working in an In-House Recruitment function, ideally within the Civil Infrastructure market. You will also have been working in client facing roles where you’ll have gained extensive stakeholder management experience.

You will need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively prioritise your workload.

Our growth plans for this year are challenging, so it’s important that working in high-pressure environments gets the best out of you.

We also want you to be able to embrace and embody our core values of “Safeguard, Innovate, Collaborate, Deliver, Sustain and Thrive.” They define who we are, how we act and what we aspire to.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related subject desirable.

What We Offer

We will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options. Whether you’re working from an AECOM office, remote location or at a client site, you will be working in a dynamic environment where your integrity, entrepreneurial spirit and pioneering mindset are championed.

You will help us foster a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion – a safe and respectful workplace, where we invite everyone to bring their whole selves to work using their unique talents, backgrounds and expertise to create transformational outcomes for our clients.

We will encourage you to grow and develop your career with us through our technical and professional development programs and diverse career opportunities. We believe in leadership at all levels. No matter where you sit in the organization you can make a lasting impact on the projects you work on, the teams and committees you join and our business.

We offer competitive pay and benefits, well-being programs to support you and your family, and the development resources you need to advance your career.

When you join us, you will connect and collaborate with a global network of experts – planners, designers, engineers, scientists, consultants, program and construction managers – leading the change toward a more sustainable and equitable future. Join us and let’s get started.
