Brent CAMHS is looking to recruit Band 7 Clinical Psychologists to join a friendly, supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary specialist mental health service.

You will help the service provide specialist mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments alongside a variety of psychological interventions (e.g. CBT, ACT, TF-CBT, DBT, parenting work, groups and family / systemic work) for a broad range of complex mental health concerns and neurodevelopmental differences experienced by children, young people and families within a socially, economically and culturally diverse London borough. The posts involve working in one or more of our Emotional Disorders, Neurodevelopmental and Enhanced Treatment Sub-Teams.

These posts provide an excellent opportunity for clinicians to develop their skills and knowledge via regular clinical supervision, being part of Quality Improvement (QI) projects and multi-disciplinary working within a experienced team of Family Therapists, Psychotherapists, Nurses, Child Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists.

We are looking for confident and skilled clinicians who are able to maintain clinical curiosity, willing and keen to engage in reflective practice and able to be an advocate for children, young people and families’ needs. Clinicians who have previous experience within CAMHS settings (particularly with safeguarding, risk and Neurodevelopmental concerns) would be at an advantage.
