Main responsibilities and Key Duties (not exhaustive):


  • Sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for functions such as cleaning, parking, security and technology.
  • Advising the business on measures to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the facilities.
  • Supervising teams of staff across different sites.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities are well maintained through the design and implementation of a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme for each site.
  • Maintain and oversee fault reporting ticketing system.
  • Maintain and monitor Asset Register ensuring all weekly returns from remote sites are collated and included.
  • Ensuring good equipment and logistics management is in place but ensure all hospital sites are fully equipped and managed to ensure successful ongoing services.
  • Ensure any products or services procured are at optimum cost.
  • Maintaining logistics around stock management, equipment and functionality such that all hospitals are fully equipped and able to function in a business-as usual manner.
  • Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the site.
  • Ensure that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
  • Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, space management and office relocations
  • Drafting maintenance reports
  • Act as first point of contact for escalation of service failures
  • Be part of an on-call rota for out of hours issues.
  • Perform related duties and other reasonable tasks as and when requested by Line Manager.
