In a very dynamic and growing IT department, the IT Operations Technical Project Manager will be supporting and improving IT operations and services in the field of Infrastructure Operations. This position also serves as an integrated member of the IT team involved with IT service delivery and 24/7 Technical support, as well as collaborating on IT standards implementations .

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent;
  • At least 7 years’ experience in IT Service Management (ITSM);
  • Fluent in the English language, a knowledge of other European languages is advantageous;
  • Experience in the maritime and hospitality industry is desirable;
  • Knowledge and Experience with Windows, Centos, RedHat Server, network and desktop;
  • Knowledge with Firewalls, Load balancing;
  • Knowledge and experience of Microservices architecture, cloud native platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift);
  • Knowledge and experience with Data centre management, SAN storage, VMware and Back Up technologies;
  • Knowledge of Databases based upon MySQL.
  • Manages ships and office IT infrastructure (Server, Storage, and backup Management, Microservices platforms, Firewalls);
  • Designs, development, and implementation of new Technologies;
  • Project leadership of MSC Newbuilds and refitting projects;
  • Monitors and supports of infrastructure availability, scalability, and performance;
  • Takes proactive steps to ensure an appropriate level of system availability and security;
  • Third line support to IT Onboard support functions;
  • Manages contractors.
