The IT Project and Infrastructure Manager is responsible for delivering IT infrastructure projects that reflect the College’s business needs. You will have previous project manager experience within an IT remit, and experience of change and risk management while delivering projects. As an experienced leader, you will lead the infrastructure team in delivering both technical projects and managing infrastructure, systems and networks of the College.

Leading all IT infrastructure projects, you will plan, design and ensure successful delivery of projects to specified budgets and deadlines. The post holder will liaise with all stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure project deliverables are fully met. You will demonstrate effective leadership skills with an ability to manage non-direct reports and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion.

The post-holder will file regular reports to various areas of the College’s management structure on project delivery, and provide reports on second line call resolution meeting defined key performance indicators. You will meet regularly with curriculum and service areas to engage in potential new projects.

You will work with end-users to understand their needs and use your resourcefulness to enable you to identify the appropriate technical innovation to streamline business processes and be a driving force in the College’s digital transformation strategy. You will have a good knowledge of IT and strong people management and leadership skills, as well as good communication skills.
