Job Description


We are looking to recruit a Junior Technical Support Consultant to work within our globally distributed IT team, to provide IT technical support from our London office to all our users across our global business.

Essential Skills:

Good interpersonal skills, with a basic knowledge of, or experience in, technical laptop support would be an advantage, as would holding a keen interest to learn.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

These will include:

  • Assisting the wider IT team with tickets received, including call logging
  • Assisting with general IT admin tasks such as new user setup, and PC builds
  • Handling incoming deliveries and providing information to the Procurement team
  • Assisting with various projects and upgrades to meet Turner & Townsend’s IT security measures
  • Conducting daily checks of the London office equipment to ensure issues are identified in a timely manner
  • Building positive working relationships within the business
  • Duties will vary and be revised due to the nature of the IT Support environment (the above is a guide and not a comprehensive list)

Qualifications


Technical Experience:

  • Basic understanding of er administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 365, and Outlook in a corporate environment
  • Basic understanding of managing hardware and software assets
  • Usage of Office 365 products (MS Teams, One Drive, SharePoint etc.)
  • Experience of ITIL based call management system, e.g., FreshService would be an advantage but not essential
