The Department of Engineering Science is looking for an IT Improvement Analyst to join its IT team (IT@Eng). You’ll be using your IT Operations and Business Analyst skills to find ways of improving our work processes, and tools, across the whole team. Then using your excellent organisation skills to help us achieve those improvements and keep them on track.
IT@Eng provides a wide range of computing and network services; delivering and supporting IT so that our Academics and Students can achieve their best in a great environment for teaching and research.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be working alongside the IT Service Delivery Manager and other technical IT staff members to deliver excellent service to our academic, student and administrative users of IT. A key aspect of the role is to analyse current processes and procedures, to report findings, and deliver new or improved processes and procedures.
You should have excellent written communication skills and an ability to document procedures, processes & write reports. A strong focus and understanding of process driven procedures and projects is essential. Experience of an ITIL environment, Lean process improvements, and in business analysis would be welcome.
