IT Assistant (Service Desk) / IT Helpdesk / First Line Support Kidderminster Fixed term contract (Ending 31st December 2021) 37.5 hours per week Starting salary up to £21,404 Our client is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic IT Assistant to join their IT Service Desk team. On a day to day basis you will provide call logging, hardware roll-outs and some 1st line IT support to the Group’s users; supporting the IT department with IT issues on a range of software applications, Windows laptops/PCs, iPads, and Android phones/tablets. You will work with the team on wider projects. The successful candidate will have enthusiasm to deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction to the Group’s IT users. You will need to bring strong questioning skills, excellent verbal and written literacy skills to ensure that IT Service Desk tickets contain adequate information to allow timely resolution by analysts. You will need to be highly organised; ensuring all support calls are recorded and kept updated on the system. Additionally, experience of stock control is desirable as the successful candidate will undertake booking IT assets into and out of the department.
