Inventory Coordinator (temp)
Broomfleet, Brough, HU15 2GS

We are currently looking to recruit an Inventory Coordinator on a 6 month basis to be based at our Broomfleet site in Brough. Due to the site location, own transport is essential.

Our Role

To maintain the inventory records at our Broomfleet site including Wienerberger produced materials and traded goods through regular cycle counting.

Key Responsibilities
  • At least 75% of your time will be spent outside in the stock yard / warehouse counting the physical inventory (up to 1000 SKU’s)
  • The remainder will be used to apply the results into SAP for reconciliation
  • Monitoring maximum stock figures in accordance with physical capacities and locations of our stock yard and warehousing
  • Maintain our cycle counting database in line with our published UK policy
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with colleagues
  • Cover the dispatch window when necessary
  • Promote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve your efficiency
  • Actively take part in any training requested to enhance your role
  • Safely carry out all manual handling in the correct and trained manner
  • Good knowledge of health and safety
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to duties
Skills & Experience
  • Previous inventory handling / counting experience
  • G.C.S.E qualifications in Maths and English (minimum C / Grade 4)
  • Excellent mathematic skills
  • Strong excel skills / competent using spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage own time and ensure set KPI’s are met
  • Previous stock control experience and knowledge of SAP or experience using a similar type of stock control program would be advantageous
Hours of Work: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
