Position: Inventory Controller
Salary: Starting from £27,000 - £29,000 based on experience
Shift Pattern/Start Time: Monday to Friday
Location: Cadder Yard, Bishopbriggs, G64 1UW
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 37.5 hours

What does this job involve?

The operation will provide a 24/7 critical fulfilment service to a national infrastructure company supporting them in achieving their decarbonisation agenda in Scotland.

  • Responsible for maintain the stock integrity of receipted material in the the WMS system
  • Responsible for ensuring all stock has been put away in the correct location by the warehouse operatives
  • Running and organising stock checks. (PI Counts)
  • Support the management in ensuring that servicing schedules are adhered to for all mechanical handling equipment
  • Plan deliveries against the delivery schedule ensuring that weight limitations are complied with
  • Check off proof of deliveries to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Support management team with communication and assist with the resolution of any customer delivery issues

We are looking for people who:

  • Previous experience of using a RF based Warehouse Management System preferably Blue Yonder or Red Priaire (essential)
  • Strong communication skills - Both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills – Experience in using Word – Excel – Outlook
  • Previous experience of working in an administration role of a warehouse
  • Experience in manual and electronic filing systems
  • Ability to manage own time and use initiative
  • Office based role but elements of outdoor workwill be required.
