Interventions Learning Support

Fleetwood (FY7)

Full time, Monday – Friday.

Experience delivering interventions necessary and must be Level 3 qualified.

Start date 4th March 2025.

Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated interventions support assistant to help with raising attainment in English and Mathematics across the Year 6 and Year 2 cohort. The ideal candidate will support the children with short and effective SATS interventions and monitor the progress of the children.

The school is committed to helping their staff grow both personally and professionally. You will collaborate with experienced educators and contribute to a positive learning environment. Your teamwork will play a crucial role in fostering academic achievement and personal growth of the children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with students who may need additional support in preparation for SATs examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to excel. The main focus being Mathematics and English.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and teachers to facilitate a targeted approach to intervention.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, building positive relationships with students to enhance their overall educational experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
