About the Role

We are looking for an International Digital Lead to lead on knowledge and expertise in creating digital products within the OEINT Product team. You will enable the team to create relevant, compelling and effective digital resources, guided by digital learning principles and technical production capabilities. You will represent OEINT’s customers on OE-wide platforms and digital initiatives to influence wider strategy and development and ensure innovations will be fit-for-purpose for OEINT markets, and lead on data and reporting for OEINT digital products, providing timely insights to the publishing team and furthering our data capabilities.

Duties of the role will include:

Strategy & market

  • Maintaining a detailed understanding of the market needs for the different OEINT lists and an awareness of teacher and learner needs at all levels.
  • Working with OEINT senior stakeholders to define and shape our digital strategy.
  • Representing OEINT’s customers on OE-wide platforms and digital initiatives in order to influence strategy and development and ensure they are fit-for-purpose for the needs of our lists.
  • Monitoring current trends in digital publishing and keep abreast of competitive offerings in the International market.
  • Shaping digital product (publishing)

  • Be the expert across all platforms onto which OEINT publish digital content and be knowledgeable in advising colleagues on the best solutions for their digital needs.
  • Working with the publishing team to shape and enable the delivery of the digital publishing programme for each OEINT list, ensuring that products are appropriate, achievable, effective, and will be delivered to budget. Contribute to the customer value proposition for designated projects.
  • Acting as the bridge between the Digital Product Management team and OEINT Publishing, escalating new requirements to the relevant product manager and checking new concepts.
  • Product creation (editorial)

  • Supervising and undertake quality assurance testing of digital product creation during the editorial and production process.
  • Providing training and guidance to the Editorial team across all platforms, including authors and freelancers as required.
  • Project management

  • Leading on process improvements, demonstrate exemplary working practices, use systems and technologies to their full potential, anticipate risks, plan ahead, and problem solve to ensure that products come out efficiently and on time.
  • With the Editorial Managers, monitor and forward plan resourcing for digital projects going through the team.
  • List management (data)

  • Leading on data and reporting requirements for the list of OEINT digital products, providing timely insights to the publishing team.
  • Working with the other data functions of OE in furthering our data and reporting capabilities, focusing on the requirements for OEINT.
  • Financial management

  • Managing and reviewing the OEINT digital overheads costs against budget regularly, problem solving to ensure that budgets are kept within.
  • Communication & teamwork

  • Supporting the sales and marketing teams as required on OEINT digital product.
  • Representing the voice of the OEINT customers across all forums for digital platforms and products, working across OE and across departments.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

    • Digital content creation experience

    • Experience of platform or digital product management

    • High levels of literacy and computer skills (Word, Excel, etc)

    • High level communication and interpersonal skills

    • Considerable project management experience, ideally in a similar field

    We’re all currently working from home at the moment due to COVID. We are currently thinking through how we use our offices in the future and are open to discussing flexibility within this such as a blend of office and home working.
