Job Description Details

Reporting to our Analytics & Insights Manager for Qi, we are recruiting for an International Business Analyst, who is energetic, committed and driven.

With a strong analytical & methodical mind set.

As a Business Analyst, your role will be providing timely, accurate, insightful analysis on the performance across QVC’s international (Operations) functions. You will partner closely with key stakeholders providing effective data analysis whilst proactively searching for new insights that drive decision making and significant business change.

The ideal candidate would be focused and innovative, taking a proactive interest in developing new management information and working collaboratively across numerous functions on key business change projects. You will have a highly technical mind-set and will be comfortable working across several BI Software tools within a complex

systems and data environment.

The post holder would be a primary partner for business stakeholders to enable a data led approach to decision making, whilst proactively researching requests & issue in the business using new and emerging methodologies.

You will be expected to lead projects where operations processes, data metrics and financial results will be standardized across the int. markets. You will understand processes that work well and can be transferred across all markets for maximum financial benefit.

As a senior member of the team you will develop key relationships within the operations team, technical colleagues, senior and executive stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external service providers. You will also provide mentoring to less experienced analysts to ensure smooth delivery of outputs.

As a Business Analyst, you will analyse, understand and make changes to operational routine performance and KPI’s, influence functions to implement potential solutions or required changes to assumptions and business processes to aid continuous improvement. As a senior member of the finance department you will always have a focus on the financial impact of decisions, with the ability to quantify the financial risk as a result of metric changes.

Duties Also Included But Not Limited To

Production of models based on artificial intelligence (AI) and statistical approaches for QVC International Operations.

Timely & accurate production and analysis of all strategic management KPI’s & Financial reporting for the international markets.

Able to understand results of management reports on business performance using effective communication skills to clearly present outcomes to stakeholders.

Ability to influence business leaders, taking a leading role in meetings to effect business decisions

On many occasions 80% of your working week will be working on new strategic & tactical operations projects that have been requested by the business’ leadership team or identified by yourself when reviewing management information.

Ability to organise your work effectively and create your own project plan to ensure the wider team has visibility of data analysis & insights requests.

You will develop strong, lasting relationships with key business stakeholders and will support the business to develop ideas, in order to help us put our customers first, obtaining good knowledge across several individual business areas.

Minimise the need for manual data manipulation by supporting in the systemisation and automation the production or reports and analysis.

Review existing methods of analysis and reporting tools within the operation ensuring best practise is followed.

Be the key point of contact for Business queries and drive these through to workable solutions that meet the objective.
