Job Description


Based in Yate and re-advertised due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a part time Internal Sales Person to support our Sales and Management teams, providing excellent customer account management and on-going world class customer care.

The position is offered as 0.6FTE (22.5 hrs per week) spread over 5 days ideally.

You will be required to build close working relationships with Business Development and Laboratory Managers in Eurofins York and the wider Eurofins Group and to quickly gain knowledge and understanding of Eurofins E&E services and how they meet customer needs.

Main responsibilities (this is not an exhaustive list):

To assist in the implementation of this role within Eurofins E&E by development of the following:

  • To engage customers during testing programs in Eurofins E&E Laboratories in order to promote the relationship and determine future business opportunities
  • Build business relationship with and develop Key Accounts as specified
  • To organise, update and coordinate the internal RFQ process within the company using appropriate systems, databases and CRMs
  • To submit appropriate Proposals / Quotations for existing services to existing customers
  • To proactively follow up submitted proposals to existing customers
  • To follow, develop and streamline the company enquiry/quoting process
  • To work in tandem with and complimentary to BDMs and operations staff to meet company goals and provide high quality customer service
  • To receive and acknowledge POs and liaise with operations staff for scheduling projects
  • Liaise with the lab manager to coordinate sales projections to the UK group sales manager
  • To record and input as necessary all activities, actions, meetings, proposals into the company CRM and maintain an appropriate “dashboard” as directed
  • To co-ordinate sales projections and reports inside and outside of the company CRM in tandem with the laboratory manager
  • Support the marketing department in the implementation of the marketing strategy (regional and national as required)

Qualifications


You will have significant experience (5 years +) of conducting B2B customer interactions and as a result will have a confident, articulate, professional, assertive, convincing and friendly telephone manner. In addition to this you will be highly organised and possess many of the following:

  • Strong knowledge of IT (MS Word, Excel, Hubspot)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 17025 or ISO 9000 quality system (desirable)
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent personal organisation skills and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical specialists and non-specialists alike
  • Project management skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Self-motivated with strong drive and ambition
  • Professional and confidential approach
  • Being responsible for own actions and taking proactive ownership of projects,
