Steadmans, part of SIG Plc, are currently looking to recruit an InternalSales Coordinator to act as first point of contact for our customers and support our Sales Office with the sales administration.

What does the role involve?

As an Internal Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for adding quotations and orders onto the Steadmans’ SAP system, developing and maintaining new sales which will be beneficial and profitable and providing excellent customer service to all our customers, ensuring all customer orders are processed in line with the business needs and within agreed timescales. It is a role that will see you assisting customers when loading and offloading vehicles if required – again, full training will be provided. You will regularly engage with our business development, external and internal sales teams, following up on all sales quotes and leads in a timely manner, record activity and utilise internal systems accurately. You will also help manage stock levels on the premises

The successful candidate will require:

  • Previous experience in a Sales-focused role
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong customer service experience, self-motivation, resourcefulness and be willing to undertake a wide range of duties
  • IT literate, with knowledge of SAP or similar operating systems an advantage
  • Knowledge of the metal cladding and profiles marketplace would be a bonus
