Job Description

Job Title: Internal Sales Administrator

Job Type:Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Location:Buxton

Remuneration: As Internal Sales Administrator, you’ll receive a salary of between £18,000 and £20,000, depending on experience, plus you’ll benefit from a 10% performance bonus private health cover after 1 years’ service, a contributory pension scheme and life cover.

As Internal Sales Administrator you’ll be responsible for supporting and developing the sales presence and processes within SGS Baseefa, ensuring effective and timely management of customer enquiries, quotations and orders. You will also be responsible for delivering a proactive customer service which maximises the conversions of enquiries, as well as supporting the business with initiatives for growth.

Key Accountabilities;
  • Liaison with customers and engineers at enquiry stage, and collection of all relevant information in order for a quotation to be prepared.
  • Timely processing of enquiries and tracking of quotation requests to ensure maximum level of customer satisfaction
  • Accurate and prompt preparation and issuing of quotations in order to create a standardised quotation process.
  • Follow-up of sales enquiries and quotations within agreed timescales, and processing and project activation at order stage to maximise order intake.
  • Maintain an accurate and comprehensive enquiry-to-order system and suggest and implement improvements.
  • Develop knowledge to provide basic technical assistance to customers in order to further develop customer relationships.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need proven skills within a sales orientated or customer facing role, and ability to promote these traits within the business

In addition to the above you’ll also need to demonstrate the following;
  • Experience of MS programs including Word and Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to maintain and improve processes
The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential;
  • Knowledge of standards
  • Experience of working within a quality system
  • Experience of reviewing own processes and workloads
  • Sales/Customer Service/Marketing Activity
