Job Title: 2nd Line Software Support Administrator

Job Type:Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Location:Shepton Mallet

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience, plus you’ll benefit from a 10% performance bonus private health cover after 1 years’ service, a contributory pension scheme and life cover.

Key Accountabilities;

  • Analyse escalated software support queries to determine next steps and take appropriate action to resolve in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Perform product user testing (UAT) within the development scheduled routine to ensure effectiveness of solution
  • Qualify customer feedback and communicate to the team, log development requests when action is determined
  • Provide a polite and prompt response to all customer queries in order to offer a high standard of service and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Provide 2nd line support and helpdesk cover, including remote connection to customer sites for problem solving in an efficient and effective manner
  • Successfully convey system and domain knowledge to on-board new clients, demonstrating high levels of knowledge and experience to offer solutions and develop business opportunities
  • Deliver system training to customers via various methods to promote their understanding and enhance the service levels offered
  • Promote and ensure compliance with all UK policies and systems, including Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety systems



Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need software support experience with the ability to understand, interpret and resolve customer requirements.

In addition to the above you’ll also need to demonstrate the following;

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Software support experience
  • Microsoft tools and applications experience
  • GCSE A*-C in mathematics and English (or equivalent)
  • Driving License valid for use in the UK
