Key accountabilities for this role:
  • Working with the Channels, Content and Campaigns Manager to support the delivery of key internal communications campaigns and transformation/change programmes.
  • Support internal comms delivery planning, working with the wider IC team to create a clear roadmap and establishing and maintaining the processes and tools required to effectively air traffic control our messaging and manage content creation and delivery.
  • Produce high quality and relevant content for colleagues through our communication channels. Work closely and align (priorities, messages, tools) with members of the wider Corporate Affairs team and business stakeholders to develop innovative, excellent, and integrated communications materials.
  • Support the creation and delivery of transformation/change comms projects to include comms planning and delivery on set pieces like our return to office approach, location strategy, well-being/D&I campaigns, colleague engagement, Consumer Duty, etc.
  • Campaigns – work with internal stakeholders to agree clear and impactful campaign objectives aligned to organisational priorities and ensure commitment to delivering them.
  • Support the creation and manage the implementation of creative and innovative campaigns and projects to bring alive and help ensure the delivery of our strategic priorities/transformation plan and showcase our people going above and beyond to deliver our purpose and strategy.
  • Support the effective management of internal communications mailbox.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Channel, Content and Campaigns Manager.

Key knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Proven track record in assisting the shaping and delivery of Internal Communications campaigns through periods of change, measuring, reviewing, and reporting against outcomes.
  • Knowledge of detailed engagement, communications, and end-to-end campaign delivery, across multiple channels and audiences, focused not only on planning, but execution and measurement
  • Good technical knowledge to deliver appropriate graphic and online communications materials, including website, intranet, print, film, digital and social media.
  • Effective interpersonal, influencing, management and communication skills, including the ability to write and present clear and concise professional communications to range of audiences at all levels.
  • Communicates, challenges, and influences a variety of stakeholders effectively.
  • A proven and driven self-starter willing to use their own initiative to identify opportunities for improvement/engagement and demonstrate an ability to take the lead on issues where necessary, and drive matters forward.
  • Experience of coaching other people to deliver results through effective challenge and support
  • Excellent communicator to all levels (written, verbal and interpersonal).
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Strong organisational and management skills: the ability to deliver consistent excellent results under pressure with minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
