Internal Communications Assistant


Location: Hybrid Working – Cannock / Home

Salary: £15,600

Part Time: 30 Hours

The Opportunity:


The purpose of this role is to deliver on internal communications across the charity and commercial division, while working cross departmentally and cross functionally. The role is a key integral part of the organisation in order tell our ‘story’ well and develop on business matters with essential feedback.


You will work closely with our People Team Business Partner on wide engagement, you will be primarily ideas and content focused with a passion for communication and team work


Key aspects of the role will be to:


Implement and advocate new internal communication tools – fit for all, create content for Internal Newsletters and Intranet. Manage Internal Noticeboards/Screens across the organisation, liaise with People Team for delivery of communications, under our ‘Positive Employee Engagement’ programme.


What we are looking for:


You will ideally have a background in internal communications, or similar role. Have experience producing communications content. Demonstrate an ability to communicate in a range of effective approaches tailored to the audience needs.


You will be acreative thinker with the ability to spot opportunities for innovation and grow and engage all teams at all levels. Have great written and verbal skills. Be able to understand data for reporting, have a confident, friendly and approachable style and work at pace
