IAC is recruiting with a FTSE 250 UK specialist building materials supplier based in Sheffield.

Our client is continuing to grow from strength to strength in the first quarter of 22 with a 2 billion turnover in 2021. This role comes from a new headcount within our client’s audit function.

The internal audit manager will have no direct line management, you will manage a portfolio. You will join a team of 4 UK-based Internal Audit Managers who will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit.

This role will be operational audit heavy with some financial audits.

You will travel 40% domestically covering the northern SIG offices, occasionally traveling to Ireland to audit our client’s 3 Irish locations (Dublin, Galway, and Limerick). The role comes with a £6k car allowance or a company car.

The right candidate will have experience in an accounting practice environment and have transitioned into an industry role covering similar distribution or building material sectors. Ideally, 2-3 years post qualification experience. You will be ACA / ACCA qualified. Hold UK right to work.

You will work from the office 2-3 days per week with the rest at home.

You will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and driven to drive the audit function forward.
