Our client is a major player in the FMCG sector with a sizeable workforce. They have a strong presence in Derby and are recognised for their high-quality products.

Job Description

  • Processing a weekly payroll of around 1000 employees who are mainly factory based
  • Monthly payroll for around 85 staff
  • Using a time and attendance system
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Liaising with other departments for payroll inputs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
  • Assisting in audits and internal controls related to payroll.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Payroll Co-Ordinator should have:

  • Relevant payroll experience - weekly and monthly for a payroll of ideally around 1000+ people
  • Proficient knowledge of payroll software.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information.
