Our client is a major player in the FMCG sector with a sizeable workforce. They have a strong presence in Derby and are recognised for their high-quality products.
Job Description
- Processing a weekly payroll of around 1000 employees who are mainly factory based
- Monthly payroll for around 85 staff
- Using a time and attendance system
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Liaising with other departments for payroll inputs.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
- Assisting in audits and internal controls related to payroll.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Payroll Co-Ordinator should have:
- Relevant payroll experience - weekly and monthly for a payroll of ideally around 1000+ people
- Proficient knowledge of payroll software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information.
