Our Hampshire based client is an innovative and industry leading Global business. They are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant to support with the Statutory Reporting process, working as a key member of the Financial Reporting team. This role will be strategic in delivering statutory financial compliance for the Group, ensuring integrity of reported numbers and looking after an international portfolio.

What will the role involve?
  • Ensuring statutory accounts and audits are completed in accordance with local requirements and company policies;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to obtain answers to audit queries and ensure approval processes are met;
  • Assisting in the preparation of UK subsidiary statutory accounts;
  • Supporting with ad-hoc accounting projects.
Suitable Candidate
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with an excellent academic record;
  • Ideally experience of working in a UK accounting firm;
  • Experience of working with or in international groups;
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with accounting reconciliations;
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, ideally experience with using ERP systems.
