We are looking for a seasoned contractor to join us during this busy period, who will be able to hit the ground running. You will be working directly with a set project team and will have clear outputs and deliverables.

Required skills and experience

  • Degree or CIPS qualified (or currently studying towards)
  • 5 year’s+ experience in procurement / contract management
  • Experience working with various stakeholders including Legal, Tax, Product, IT Finance and HR
  • The ability to manage, communicate and mitigate commercial risk
  • Strong negotiation skills with an ability to drive positive outcomes
  • Managing and developing both internal and external relationships with customers and suppliers on an international basis
  • Demonstrate strong RFI and supplier commercial practices
  • Excellent people management skills, able to provide leadership and demonstrate strong influencing and negotiation skills while delivering best practice and value across the procurement activity
  • Commercially astute and customer facing able to think strategically but deliver tactically to ensure business expectations and goals are consistently achieved
  • Dynamic, data driven and numerate, able to multi-task and not afraid to question and challenge at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate and influence others, create understanding and desire to change and continuously improve in the people you work with at all levels
