As a Business Analyst at Oddschecker you’ll be required to….

  • Review, challenge and add value for current and future business processes, ensuring that all process documents are of a high level of quality and consistency that is logical and comprehensive.
  • Work with stakeholders from various disciplines across the organisation in order to understand and clearly document their vision for moving our products forward.
  • Collaborate closely with our product and architecture teams to realise these visions.
  • Take the lead on running workshops, gathering requirements to derive recommendations that have an impact on multiple teams and provide significant business value.
  • Lead the presentation of proposed processes, product changes and customer journeys to business users of different levels of seniority from across all areas of the business.
  • Consult with product teams to review internally generated functional and non-functional requirements to ensure they are of requisite quality and suitability.
  • Manage and lead gap analysis to understand most appropriate solution options, and write and present business cases to justify recommendations.
  • Support go live of new processes and solutions and act as a change champion to ensure successful change implementation.
  • Provide insightful narrative and updates to Product teams and senior management on the progress of key initiatives.

So, what experience are we looking for?

  • The ability to break-down and understand complex business and technical problems before proposing concise recommendations.
  • Experience engaging business stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures in a trustworthy and thoughtful manner.
  • Experience in writing and presenting business cases to senior business stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating clear and concise requirement documents from multiple sources and across teams.
  • Experience working with agile teams, and of agile product development processes.
  • Willingness to challenge the business when opportunities arise, and identify opportunities to innovate.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior business stakeholders in a project and product environment, facilitating alignment and consensus on future business solutions and changes.
  • Experience in critically reviewing business analysis and adding value to project deliverables such as process maps, use cases, customer journeys and requirements documents.

Desired

  • Recognised Business Analysis qualification such as IIBA or ISEB.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks, hand-offs, bottle necks and opportunities in business processes.
  • Experience working with modern content management systems (Contentful, Contentstack, Storyblok or similar).
  • Interest in and/or knowledge of sports and the betting industry are always handy but not essential.
