What’s involved with this role:
Interim Computer Implementation Lead - PSR 1JP00053398 Pay Rate: Up to £450 per day pay range subject to IR35 status Location: London, Leeds or Bristol. As an Implementation Manager, you will be at the forefront of leading the successful delivery of Future Hearings projects and implementing change. Key Accountabilities:
  • To take the lead on managing the implementation for the new Scheduling and Listing tool across all jurisdictions, supporting operational changes, to reduce pressure on operational colleagues and ensure a consistent approach and a smooth implementation and transition.
  • Ensure effective planning to deliver benefits and cost-effective implementation.
  • Build and maintain effective liaison with projects, operational colleagues, the Business Change community and all stakeholders required for effective change.
  • Work with managers across the regions to ensure consistency and customer-focus.
  • Provide proactive and positive leadership through change.
  • Report to Senior Project Manager
Day to day duties:
  • Delivery, create and lead the implementation elements of the Scheduling and Listing of projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
  • Project Management Day to day management and leadership of the implementation elements of the project and the project team.
  • Set project controls where necessary.
  • Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies.
  • Resources Schedule / manage implementation resources to deliver the project.
  • Communication Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
  • Risks and Issues - to identify and monitor implementation risks and issues
  • To develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
  • Governance Provide - to produce key reports and support effective governance and decision making.
  • Assurance Support - to set appropriate project implementation assurance.
  • Implementation Management - to ensure effective implementation processes are in place.
  • Guidance and Support- to seek appropriate support, guidance and coaching from the project community.
  • Show commitment to personal development.
  • Promote effective individual and team performance.
  • Project Performance & Controls - to build the project’s Implementation Plan and apply appropriate project principles to deliver stated objectives.
  • Identify and set appropriate Project Controls.
  • Track and report delivery against milestones.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience of change management in a project / programme environment
  • Experience of building productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate clearly to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work to tight timescales, managing your priorities and ensuring delivery of quality products
  • Awareness and understanding of risk and issue management
  • Understanding of project / programmes
