Interim Assistant Technical Manager

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting the Technical Manager on all customer specifications, ensuring compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements

What You Will Contribute
  • Food safety, quality and legislation compliance. Applicable to role.
  • Leading retailer / third party audits and managing any internal audits
  • Support/lead on the auditing of suppliers
  • Take a lead role in the adherence to Allergen management/control
  • Work to coordinate and support to deliver commercial plans on NPD / EPD with exemplary Product launch execution performance.
  • Support in the design of appropriate Customer/Internal KPI’s to monitor and deliver continuous improvement plans to the Business Technical Performance
  • Support the delivery of sustainability, environmental and responsible sourcing initiatives and targets.
What You Will Bring
  • Good Understanding of required food safety legislation to deliver correct specifications
  • Worked with a variety of customers including brand and Retail (Must have M&S)
  • Knowledge in dealing with Brexit
  • Good interpersonal skills and project management skills to include identifying and prioritising short and medium term workload .
  • Have experience in TACCP / VACCP
